Cuisine

Description

Cuisine is a Layout Pack for the WordPress Premium Theme Divi developed by Elegant Themes. To use the Cuisine layout you need to have Divi installed and active on your WordPress website. We also recommend that you have WordPress and Divi up to date with their latest versions.

If you need to learn more about, or even purchase Divi, you can check it out here.

Installation

The Cuisine dowload file includes a few resources:

  • Divi Builder Layout Pack (.json file)
  • Customizer Settings (.json file)
  • Folder of images and graphics used in the demo

To use these you will first need to unzip the .zip file you download from us. It’s the contained files that you will be using.

Installing the Layout Pack:

  1. Make sure you have Divi as the active theme.
  2. Unzip the downloaded Cuisine .zip file. You should see the 2 files and 1 folder mentioned above.
  3. In your WordPress admin area go to Divi > Divi Library.
  4. Click the “Import & Export” button at the top of the screen.
  5. Click the “Import” toggle.
  6. Click “Choose File” and select the “Cuisine Divi Builder Layouts.json” file
  7. Click “Import Divi Builder Layouts
  • The Cuisine Layouts are now available in your Divi library.
  • The Layout pack includes a full page layout that will load the full demo site and all its sections.
  • The other Layout items are the individual sections from the demo site.
  • For more information on working with the Divi Library, visit Elegant Themes Official Documentation.

Installing the Customizer Settings:

  1. Make sure you have Divi as the active theme.
  2. In your WordPress admin area go to Appearance > Customize.
  3. Click the import/export button at the top of the Customizer pane (looks like 2 arrows pointing up and down)
  4. Click the “Import” toggle.
  5. Click “Choose File” and select the “Cuisine Divi Customizer Settings.json” file
  6. Click “Import Divi Customizer Settings
  7. Click “Save & Publish

This will apply all of the Customizer settings used on the demo site.

Working with the Images

All of the images, photos and artwork assets used in the demo and provided in the downloadable files are licensed under Creative Commons Zero which means you can copy, modify, distribute and use the photos for free, including commercial purposes, without asking permission from or providing attribution to the creator or Octygon.

The way that the import and export of Divi Layouts work means that many (if not all) of the images and artwork are imported as well. Occassionally an image won’t import correctly. Additionally, you may want to re-use some of the images and artwork in other ways. It’s for these 2 reasons we provide the folder containing all the images and artwork used in the demo
